Britain’s Got Talent Week 2 Roundup

The second week of everyone’s favourite talent show went down a storm! From the wonderful to the downright whacky, this recap covers what you might have missed!

Who got through?

Judges were wowed Mary P, whose street version of the iconic nanny Mary Poppins bagged her four yeses. Suzi Wild also left a great impression – more than one, as it goes – for her impersonation act which saw her through to the next round.

Who fell short?

Hammerhand certainly proved the talent show has variety baked into it! The karate teacher – whose real name is Muhamed Kahrimanovic – attempted to break the world record for most coconuts smashed in one minute with one hand. Unfortunately he failed to crack the judges, receiving a no from each judge.

Shining stars

The incredibly talented dance group Born to Perform, comprised of performers with disabilities from Northampton, shot straight through to the semi-finals with a Golden Buzzer from David Walliams. Their performance of Hairspray’s Can’t Stop the Beat proved they’re an act to watch this season!

Stand-out moment

One act that didn’t make it out of the pile was the Bin Busker, an outdoors instructor who performed his guitar act whilst stuck in a bin. The judges weren’t impressed, and chose to leave him where he was.
