50,000 MECCA MEALS COOKED UP FOR COMMUNITIES

Great news! We’ve reached a marvellous Mecca milestone – cooking and delivering over 50,000 free meals to local communities during lockdown.

Our Mecca Bingo team members have been working tirelessly to bring a bit of bingo cheer to those who need it the most, and we’re delighted to reach this landmark figure. The milestone meal was delivered to Open Heaven Church in Wednesbury by Shaun Bailey, the MP for West Bromwich.

Whether it’s been cooking meals, adding Easter Eggs to Good Friday deliveries or dropping off COVID-19 hospital packages, our brilliant team have gone above and beyond to spread the Mecca Bingo community love.

Throughout lockdown, we’ve been showing our support up and down the country to key workers on the frontline, as well as numerous charities and organisations who have been amazing in helping communities get through these testing times.

We’re immensely proud to have supported NHS24, Salvation Army, homeless charities such as Marie Trust and Applewood Homeless Shelter, along with local police, councils and hospitals – and we’ll continue to do so, spreading dabber delight as we go.

Want to know more? We took some time to celebrate Mecca’s unsung heroes, discussing how the project came together and sharing some of the super stories that have stemmed from it.
