Glitterballs at the ready – Strictly is BACK for another season of show-stopping routines, dramatic dance-offs and unexpected partnerships. The 2025 cast has been revealed, and they’re bringing everything from West End flair to Olympic power.

Even better? We’ve teamed up with former Strictly pro Ola Jordan for the second year running to bring you exclusive weekly insights, expert commentary and her pick for who might just waltz away with the Glitterball trophy this year.

Last year’s winners

Before we dive into this year’s lineup, let’s take a moment to celebrate the 2024 champions: Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell.

Chris, a stand-up comedian and actor, made Strictly history as the first blind contestant to win the show. Their emotional performances captured the hearts of the nation, culminating in a glittering victory during the live final.

In his heartfelt acceptance speech, Chris dedicated the win to “everyone who’s ever been told they can’t,” marking a powerful moment of representation and resilience.

So, who’s stepping onto the ballroom floor this year?

Meet the Strictly 2025 Celebs

Harry Aikines‑Aryeetey (35) – Olympic Sprinter & Gladiator

Harry has represented Team GB in multiple Olympic and World Championship events, collecting medals in relay and sprinting. More recently, he’s been seen flexing his power as “Nitro” on the reboot of Gladiators. Now, the track star is taking on a new kind of challenge in the ballroom.

Alex Kingston (62) – Actor: ER, Doctor Who, The Stage

From the wards of ER to time-travelling with Doctor Who, Alex is a screen and stage icon with over four decades in the business. Known for her powerful performances and charisma, she brings serious star power.

George Clarke (25) – TikTok Star & Podcaster

George shot to fame on TikTok with his comedic takes on British culture. Alongside Max Balegde, he co-hosts The Useless Hotline podcast, which regularly tops UK charts. He’s known for his nervous energy and self-deprecating humour – so expect plenty of laughs.

Balvinder Sopal (45) – EastEnders Actress

Best known as Suki Panesar in EastEnders, Balvinder has earned acclaim for portraying one of the square’s most layered characters. Her cool control and icy glares may be iconic onscreen, but Strictly could show a whole new side of her.

Ellie Goldstein (23) – Model & Disability Activist

Ellie made history as the first model with Down’s syndrome to front a campaign for Gucci Beauty. Since then, she’s graced the pages of Vogue, walked London Fashion Week, and become a vocal advocate for inclusivity in fashion and media. Now she’s set to break boundaries again – on the dancefloor.

Amber Davies (29) – West End Star & Reality TV Winner

Amber first burst into the public eye as the winner of Love Island 2017, but she’s long since swapped the villa for the velvet curtain. A professionally trained dancer and musical theatre performer, Amber has starred in major West End productions including 9 to 5: The Musical and Back to the Future. With her triple-threat talent and stage-honed presence, she could be one to watch.

Chris Robshaw (39) – Former England Rugby Captain

A towering figure in English rugby, Chris captained the national team and was known for his tenacity and discipline. He’s now a sports pundit and fitness entrepreneur – but dancing? That’s a different ball game.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (53) – Football Manager & Pundit

One of the Premier League’s most iconic strikers, Jimmy scored goals for Chelsea, Leeds and Atlético Madrid before turning his tactical mind to management. Now a popular TV pundit, he’s bringing charm, grit and big energy to the ballroom.

Karen Carney (38) – Ex-Lioness & Sports Broadcaster

One of England’s most decorated female footballers, Karen earned over 140 caps for the national side. Since retiring, she’s become a prominent voice in sports media – sharp, focused, and endlessly composed under pressure.

Stefan Dennis (66) – Soap Legend

Best known for playing the legendary Paul Robinson on Neighbours, Stefan has been a fixture in Aussie TV since the ’80s. He’s also no stranger to a music video or two (remember Don’t It Make You Feel Good?). Will that old pop star magic resurface on the dancefloor?

Vicky Pattison (37) – TV Personality & Presenter

From Geordie Shore to I’m a Celeb winner, Vicky’s reality resume is unmatched. Known for her fierce opinions, infectious laugh and emotional openness, she has recently turned her focus to wellness and self-help, with her hit podcast The Secret To.

Tom Skinner (34) – TV Personality & Entrepreneur

Tom first rose to fame on The Apprentice and has since become a regular face on daytime TV and social media, where he shares his business ventures and trademark breakfasts. Based in Essex, he runs a successful bedding company and is a proud father.

La Voix – Drag Performer & BGT Finalist

Fabulous, fearless and fierce, La Voix is no stranger to a stage. With powerhouse vocals and quick wit, she reached the finals of Britain’s Got Talent and now sells out theatre tours across the UK. Expect big wigs, bigger heels and the biggest performances.

Lewis Cope (30) – Actor & Pro-Level Hip-Hop Dancer

Best known for playing Nicky Milligan in Emmerdale, Lewis is also a professionally trained dancer with experience in hip-hop and street styles. This gives him a serious advantage – but ballroom is a very different beast.

Ola Jordan shares her thoughts on the latest series

Speaking ahead of the first live show, Ola said:

“My early prediction for who will win Strictly Come Dancing this year is Lewis Cope, who’s partnered with Katya Jones. They already look great together on the dance floor, and I know Lewis has had some dance training. Plus, Katya is an amazing teacher, so for me, they will win.”

“Close behind them, I’d say Alex Kingston and Johannes and La Voix with Aljaž. I know that’s three couples, but that’s the order I see them finishing in.”

Ola also tipped the likely early exits:

“As for who I think will be the first to be eliminated, it’s likely to be either Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lauren, or Ross King and Jowita. Not far behind, I’d expect Stefan Dennis and Dianne and Thomas Skinner and Amy to be eliminated fairly early on as well.”
