Italy take the trophy in Eurovision
This year’s Eurovision made history, although not quite in the way we we’re hoping for our entry. The UK scored a grand total of… 0 points, for only the second time ever in the show’s history. Oops. Maybe next year! Italy won the contest, which took place in Rotterdam, with rock band Måneskin and their song Zitti e buoni. Well done, Italy!
I’m A Celebrity… could be returning to Australia again this year
Last year’s show was relocated to North Wales due to the pandemic, but it looks like the Australian government have given the go ahead for this year’s show to take place down under again. We’re super excited as part of the shows appeal is the drama of the Aussie jungle. Will you be watching?
Mrs Hinch has given birth to a baby boy
Sophie Hinchliffe, perhaps better known as Mrs Hinch, gave birth to a baby boy named Lennie last Saturday. She uploaded an adorable snap to Instagram and said “sit back, relax and take in every moment. You will only live this day once” – and we can’t help but wholeheartedly agree.
The Friends reunion finally happened!
We wrote a few weeks back that it would be happening, but the gang finally got together for a 2-hour special last week. “The One Where They Got Back Together” isn’t an episode as such, it’s more of a behind the scenes documentary about what it was like to film the series, hosted by James Corden. If you’re a Friends fan and want to learn more about the cast and the show, then it’s definitely worth a watch.
Don’t forget to check back on the blog next week for the next installment of the #GossipAlert. And, if you haven’t caught up on the others, then there’s a few already there to sink your teeth into.
