Love Island Winter 2023 – full cast first look!
It’s cold, it’s wet and… it’s back baby! Love Island is hitting your screens at 9pm on Monday and we’re so excited for all the juicy drama – which is why we’ll be giving updates every step of the way, so you never miss a thing. You may be wondering; how can Love Island be back when it’s currently 16°C in Mallorca? Never fear, it’s summertime in South Africa and that’s exactly where the islanders are being sent, to find love in a brand-new villa.
This season it’s not just the location that’s had a change. Maya Jama will be the new presenter, taking over from Laura Whitmore. Plus, Indiyah Polack and Sam Thompson will be in your ears as the new presenters of the official Love Island podcast, Love Island: The Morning After.
We know you can’t wait until Monday to meet the new islanders, so why don’t we introduce them to you now:
The Boys
Kai Fagan, 24
A teacher from Manchester, this lad is no stranger to ladies ‘putting it on him’. He admits he’s had his pupils’ mums trying to give him their numbers!
Ron Hall, 25
Essex boy Ron works as a financial advisor and claims he’s the most genuine person you will ever meet! He is also the first partially sighted contestant to enter the villa.
Will Young, 23
Sound familiar? Yes, this lad is already famous but he’s not the one you’re thinking of! This TikTok farming sensation hopes to find love in the villa, someone he can bring back to the farm and hopefully marry…
Shaq Muhammad, 24
As he works as airport security, Shaq should be quite good at spotting when someone has something to hide – hopefully this comes in handy in the villa.
Haris Namani, 21
This young man is a TV salesman from Doncaster. He’s looking for love and reckons Love Island is where he’s going to find it – we’re rooting for him!
The Girls
Tanyel Revan, 26
From North London, Tanyel is a hair stylist who says she’s confident, feisty and hard to get!
Tanya Manhenga, 22
This biomedical student from Liverpool is looking to find herself a boyfriend in the villa. She says boys without socks on give her the ick – so socks and sandals must be okay right?
Lana Jenkins, 25
Lana is a makeup artist from Luton who admits she will say, ‘I love you’, after a week if she thinks things are going well. She also appeared on an episode of Benidorm as an extra when she was just six years old!
Anna-May Robey, 20
This payroll administrator from Swansea is a self-proclaimed chatter box. Her mum has been nagging her to get a boyfriend, so she’s entering the villa to do just that.
Olivia Hawkins, 27
Olivia is a ring girl and actress who once played a waitress in a Bond film. This Brighton babe has never had a boyfriend but is hoping to find love in the villa…
So that’s our islanders. Now we just need to wait until Monday so we can sit back, relax and watch the magic happen… or the drama unfold!
