Meccafest – The full lineup is revealed

The Mecca Fest Line Up

We are beyond excited to announce the full line up for Mecca Fest! Hosted by our creative director, Joe Swash, we’re going to pack the Blackpool Tower Ballroom with some of the most recognisable faces and the greatest entertainers.

Joe Swash
Joe Swash is a much-loved household name. Best known as cheeky chappie Mickey Miller in EastEnders, Joe won our hearts and the crown in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here back in 2008. As creative director, Joe is working with our fab crew to pick the acts and plan Mecca Fest.

Sister Sledge
With dance floors all over the world set alight with the contagious joy and expression in their music, Sister Sledge is blessed and honoured to have provided the soundtrack to countless lives. Hailing from Philadelphia PA, Sister Sledge has become a shining symbol of unity with their 1979 world-wide hit and iconic album ‘We are Family’.

Peter Andre
Peter Andre smashed onto the music scene with his number 1 singles Mysterious Girl and Flava. He is also known for appearing on the third series of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and the 13th series of Strictly Come Dancing. You can now see his lovely face as a regular on TV’s favourite shows This Morning and Loose Women.

Scott Mills
Scott Mills is live on Radio 1 from 1pm – 4pm, Monday – Thursday, and for the Official Chart Show on Fridays 4pm-7pm. You can also hear him on BBC Radio 5 Live Saturday mornings from 9. One of the most recognisable voices on the UK airwaves, Scott will be hitting the decks to get you all on the dancefloor.

Robin & Kristina
Stars of Strictly Come Dancing, Robin and Kristina have dazzled the crowds with their routines.  They’ve also taken their partnership off the Strictly Dance Floor, with them both headlining Burn the Floor in London’s West End and the theatre show ‘Puttin on the Ritz’. The Partnership has taken them all over the world, from charity events to Strictly Cruise Ship events.

Rak-Su
Formed in Watford, Myles Stephenson, Ashley Fongho, Jamaal Shurland and Mustafa Rahimtulla are Rak Su. The name comes from a shortened version of ‘Tracks v. Suits’ – which represents ‘music and fun vs. adult life’. Rak Su is the only boy group to have ever won The X Factor, where they wowed viewers week in and week out with their original music and undeniable charm. From chart triumphs to touring with Olly Murs and Little Mix, the band has seen great success within the industry.

Top Secret Mystery Act
We’re working on a little somethin’ somethin’…. Keep your eyes and ears open. All will be revealed in good time!

Celebrity guests

We’ve invited a fab selection of reality, music and soap stars to hang out and meet our party-goers. There’s the chance to win meet and greet passes, so you could be snapping selfies with our celebs!

Katie McGlynn
Most recognisable as ‘Sinead’ from Coronation Street, Katie McGlynn is a fantastic TV actress who is also known for her role in Waterloo Road.

Bobby Norris
Animal-loving Bobby burst onto our screens in The Only Way is Essex way back in 2012. He’s a regular on panel and quiz shows and has possibly the brightest smile in showbiz.

Duncan James
‘Duncan from Blue’ – as he is often referred to – has been a member of the chart-topping UK boyband since 2000. He’s also an accomplished actor, with roles in TV’s Hollyoaks and West End productions.

Charlotte Crosby
Bubbly Charlotte shot to fame on our screens way back in 2011 as one of the originals on MTV’s Geordie Shore. In 2015 her autobiography was published and topped The Sunday Times Bestseller list.

Georgia Harrison
The beautiful Georgia Harrison first graced our screens in ITV’s The Only Way is Essex. She then appeared on Love Island in 2017 and in the same year made her TV Movie debut in Make Christmas Great Again.

Jack Fincham
Jack first came to our TV Screens on ITV’s Love Island 2018 and became the winner of the show alongside girlfriend Dani Dyer. Jack has since starred in his own show, presented segments for This Morning and GMB and bravely appeared in ITV’S The Full Monty – raising awareness for testicular cancer.

Kelvin Fletcher
Kelvin Fletcher is best known for playing Andy Sugden in Emmerdale from 1996 until 2016, where he won Best Actor and Best Dramatic Performance at the British Soap Awards. Kelvin was a part of BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing 2019 cast, winning the show with his partner Oti Mabuse.

Michael Griffiths
Michael caught the eye of many during the summer of 2019 where he appeared on ITV’s Love Island. Before the TV Show, Michael was a Firefighter, but now spends more time in the public eye than the mess.

Nathan Henry
Nathan Henry joined the MTV show Geordie Shore for its 10th series, which premiered in April 2015. His model good looks, impeccable grooming and super-sharp tongue saw the ‘new boy’ quickly become a firm favourite on the hit reality show.
