Mecca Sheffield worked closely with Sheffield Children’s Hospital to make this Easter an extra special for children spending their holiday weekend in hospital.

“It was a fantastic effort from a number of customers and staff here in Sheffield to donate such a large amount of Easter goodies,” said Mecca Sheffield general manager Steve Bell. “And to know t put a smile on so many children’s faces is the ultimate reward.”

Chad Western, the Sheffield Children’s Hospital team member who collected over 150 Easter eggs, chocolate bunnies and an assortment of other tasty Easter treats that Mecca Sheffield accumulated, said the hospital was “overwhelmed by the generosity of Mecca and its customers.”

Steve said, as part of a concerted effort to help the community, employees and customers relish the opportunity to make a positive impact on numerous institutions in and around Sheffield.
